Prior to joining B & G in 2017, Scott earned an MBA in Finance from New York University in 1989. In 1993, he moved to Southwest Florida and started and operated a software training and data design/analysis company until 2017. B & G, one of his key clients, offered him a position on their team in 2017. As CFO at B & G, Scott manages payroll, performs sales transaction analysis, maintains company accounts and the general ledger, and oversees cash flow. He designs, develops, and implements financial and management reporting systems using Microsoft Power BI. In collaboration with CEO Mark D’Hondt, Scott manages the Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM. He also oversees and updates the company’s data from public appraiser resources. Scott plays an integral role in the professional development of existing managers and employees and collaborates with other managers in decision review and support.
